NEW 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program Early Announcements

Time to Get Excited! 🎉

We’re going live with some exciting new updates to our 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program!

Join us for a series of live, virtual sessions where we’ll share early insights and answer your questions as we continue to build out the program. Here's what's coming up:

🗓️ Wednesday, Sept. 10 @ 6–7:30 p.m. – Program Schedule Updates
🎁 Thursday, Sept. 11 @ 6–7:30 p.m. – Reward Program Enhancements
⚙️ Friday, Sept. 12 @ 6–7:30 p.m. – Operations & Logistics Updates

Each session will kick off with 20–30 minutes of updates, followed by open Q&A time to dive deeper and hear your thoughts. 

We’re sharing this early to keep you in the loop as we continue developing the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie Program. Can’t wait to connect!

Mark your calendars for Explore Cookies & S'more on Saturday, December 6, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at all Resource Centers (Lake Zurich, Oswego, Rockford, and South Elgin). More details to come!

The GSNI Product Program Team thanks all who completed the participation and reward surveys. These survey results have been a huge asset in developing plans for the 2026 Cookie Program. As we approach November, keep watch for many more exciting details announced and listed on the NEW for 2026 Cookie Program tab below! All resources will be updated by late November.

2026 Cookie Program Important Dates
Tuesday, January 6--Cookie Program begins
Sunday, January 25--Initial Order taking ends
Monday, January 26--Deadline for troops to submit initial orders
February 5-9--Service Unit Deliveries (varies by SU)
February 13-March 22--Cookie Booths
    (Troop Booths only February 13-26, Troop & Council booths through March 22)
Sunday, March 22--Cookie Program ends
Tuesday, March 24--Deadline for troops to submit final rewards
GSNI will be sending weekly Cookie Chats to Volunteers and Parents during the Cookie Program starting in January. These will also be posted here and on Rallyhood.

      Cookie Craver
      Parents or Troop Cookie Chairs may bring in a Cookie Craver submission form to a GSNI Council Cupboard ONLY, XX-XX to receive cookies for additional customer orders. Payment is required at the time of submission/cookie pick-up. Girl Scouts can earn the Goal Getter patch with submission of 18 packages.

      Cookie Business Challenge
      Girl Scouts can be a Cookie Entrepreneur and Captain by participating in the Cookie Business Challenge! Girl Scouts can earn a patch and businesses benefit from support and recognition of the Girl Scout Cookie Program! For Girl Scouts to receive their patch and to ensure businesses are recognized appropriately, the Girl Scout/parent must complete the Cookie Business Challenge online form by XX.

      Gift of Caring (GOC) Opportunity
      GSNI encourages troops to deliver GOC cookies. For troops that delivery GOC Cookies and complete the GOC online delivery form by XX, all Girl Scouts in the troop who sold donation cookies and/or participated in the delivery date will receive the Cookie Bundle charm! Troops may collect the donation cookies themselves or pick-up from council.
