You’re her hero—and ours too! Thanks to you, girls will learn to listen to their hearts, think on their feet, and raise their voices for what they believe in. From all of us at Girl Scout of Northern Illinois, thank you for sharing your time and talents as a GSNI volunteer!
As a GSNI volunteer, you are a community-builder, mentor, champion of fun, and a role model for what it means to lead with your heart. And because of you, Girl Scouts of all ages will have the opportunity to discover that a little imagination can go a long way as they chase their dreams, explore the world around them, take action to improve their communities, and make the world a better place.
Here are some ways we celebrate you - our Volunteers!
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. Below you can find different resource to have girls and adults to show their appreciation for all of the hard work Girl Scout Volunteers and Leaders do for them throughout the year.
The Volunteer Spotlight Award is a GSNI council staff-nominated award and recognition blog highlighting our exceptional volunteers with a gift and story. This is awarded monthly to volunteers who have contributed outstanding service by either integrating or modeling The Three Processes (girl led, learn by doing, cooperative learning) into their Girl Scout volunteer role, or by going above and beyond the position’s expectations by supporting our council’s mission-delivery goals.
