Get ready for an exciting day of hands-on aviation exploration! Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to fly flight simulators, experience real Air Traffic Control (ATC) communications, explore and sit inside a variety of aircraft, and learn how to conduct a preflight inspection-including an introduction to basic aircraft mechanics. Workshops throughout the day will cover fundamental aerodynamics and other fascinating aspects of flight, with even more interactive experiences to discover!

Girl Scouts in grades 4-12 will have the chance to earn a special aviation patch, designed and provided by the Chicago Area 99s. Lunch will be included for all participants!

Girl Scout troops must maintain appropriate Girl Scout-to-volunteer ratios during the event. Individual Girl Scouts are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by a registered Girl Scout adult member.
