Join us for an
enchanting week where the magic of theatre comes to life! Campers will
explore the world of performance through interactive workshops in
acting, set design, and stagecraft. Each day, participants will dive
into various aspects of theatre, from improvisation to storytelling,
culminating in a captivating end-of-camp showcase. With fun-filled
activities like costume creation, puppet making, and set building,
campers will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills.
Whether you're a budding actress or just love the stage, come step
beyond the curtain and discover your inner star! Campers will earn
progress towards their Art, Life Skills and STEM badge series.
Has your Daisy, Brownie, or Junior been looking forward to camp all
school year? Is your camper ready to go on an adventure and develop
independence but still loves the thought of being home at night? Day
camp may be a great choice!
Each camp session offers
exciting, themed activities for the week in addition to popular camp
activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, nature exploration, and
more. Our trained, fun, energetic staff will guide your camper through
all the activities we can pack in a day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If your camper decides they love camp as much as we think they
will, you can choose to have a sleepover experience on Thursday, as
well! The additional fee is $75.
Day camp Thursday
overnight campers stay in a lodge at Camp McCormick. Campers will
sleep in Friendship Center. Camp staff sleep in the bunk room across
the building. Bunk beds and bathrooms are inside lodges. Lodges do
have A/C and can be cold at night.
Camper Care Package
New in 2025! Girl Scouts when
arriving at summer camp will receive a special Summer 2025 Camper Care
Kit! They will be distributed upon arrival at camp to give them even
more to do during their camp stay.
Prepaid Trading Post
Account
You can pre-pay for your camper to have Trading Post
money to spend on camp merchandise during their camp stay in $10, $20,
and up to $50 allotments. Any unused money in your camper's Trading
Post account will be directed to our Campership Assistance program
(not refunded) to increase access for future Girl Scouts to attend
Girl Scout camp.
