Explore summer at camp and create beautiful works of art with your friends! Campers will revel in the beauty of the outdoors to gain inspiration for a week full of nature-inspired art projects. Campers will also learn what a Girl Scout can do to help the outdoors. Campers will earn progress towards their Outdoor Art, Artists, and new Maker badge series!
Is your Brownie, Junior, or Cadette interested in trying out Camp McCormick? Is your camper ready to go on an adventure and develop independence but still loves the thought of being home at night? Day camp may be a great choice! Each camp session offers exciting, themed activities for the week in addition to popular camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, nature exploration, and more. Our trained, fun, energetic staff will guide your camper through all the activities we can pack in a day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If your camper decides they loves camp as much as we think they will, you can choose to have a sleepover experience on Thursday, as well! Additional fee is $75. Day camp Thursday overnight campers stay in a lodge at Camp McCormick. Campers will sleep in single-room Troophouse Lodge. Camp staff sleep in the same room. Campers sleep with mattresses on the floor, and latrines are nearby outside. Lodges do have A/C and can be cold at night.
