Water, earth, fire, and air. Does one call to you? Master your element during this week of summer camp and create your own character in an adventure through an elemental kingdom. Campers will expand their knowledge of the natural world around them with favorite camp activities bringing on an elemental twist. Earn progress towards your Environmental Stewardship badges as you write your own adventure.
Is your Brownie, Junior, or Cadette interested in trying out Camp McCormick? Is your camper ready to go on an adventure and develop independence but still loves the thought of being home at night? Day camp may be a great choice! Each camp session offers exciting, themed activities for the week in addition to popular camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, nature exploration, and more. Our trained, fun, energetic staff will guide your camper through all the activities we can pack in a day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If your camper decides they loves camp as much as we think they will, you can choose to have a sleepover experience on Thursday, as well! Additional fee is $75. Day camp Thursday overnight campers stay in a lodge at Camp McCormick. Campers will sleep in single-room Troophouse Lodge. Camp staff sleep in the same room. Campers sleep with mattresses on the floor, and latrines are nearby outside. Lodges do have A/C and can be cold at night.
