It is our pleasure to announce that Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) will have a new Chief Executive Officer, Jodi Dahlke, beginning in May 2025! In addition to over 30 years of business leadership experience, Jodi brings expertise in strategic planning, volunteer management, and Girl Scout-specific senior leadership. She prides herself on building strong relationships with her teams and establishing lasting connections throughout the community.
Within Girl Scouts, Jodi most recently held the role of Chief Strategy Officer for Girl Scouts of Northwestern Great Lakes in Wisconsin for almost 10 years. Recently, and prior to her time there, she held many business leadership roles within small, medium, and large organizations. She has a passion for business operations, training and development, employee relations, and community development over multi-county structures.
With education in technology, business and human resource management, she combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to support business growth and transformation. Beyond the workplace, she is an active mentor and advocate for community engagement in all geographic areas she serves within. You can also find her in the outdoors, specifically enjoying water-related activities and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jodi shares, “I am looking forward to bringing my passion, along with my strategic and innovative thinking, to an organization I believe in and has such a large impact on youth throughout northern Illinois. I am committed to ensuring our Girl Scouts have an environment of belonging and opportunities to build courage, confidence and character.”
We are excited to welcome Jodi to GSNI in this role!
Jodi will be joining us at our Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m.–Noon, at NIU’s Barsema Alumni & Visitors Center in DeKalb. Please stay tuned to GSNI’s social media and Rallyhood for even more opportunities to connect and get to know Jodi over the coming months!
