Counselor-in-Training II (CIT II) is the next step for Girl Scouts
who have completed CIT I and are ready to take on greater
responsibility at camp. This advanced leadership program dives deeper
into camper behavior management, program planning, and leadership
styles while offering expanded opportunities to lead activities and
support camp staff.
Participants are placed in unit groups to
shadow counselors, lead games and songs, and help plan portions of the
camp day. With guidance from experienced mentors, CIT IIs will
strengthen their leadership presence and begin to discover their
unique style as a role model and youth mentor.
CIT II prepares
Girl Scouts for future roles as camp staff and leaders in their communities.
