Led by the Latino Policy Forum, this adults-only informational Zoom workshop offers clear and practical information about Illinois protections and everyday safety in a calm, supportive environment. Grounded in the belief that every child and family deserves to feel welcome, safe, and valued-regardless of actual or perceived immigration status-the session will support Girl Scout volunteers and families in feeling more prepared, confident, and ready as they navigate public spaces and community activities during a time of heightened immigration-related uncertainty. An informed community is an empowered community!
