S.T.E.W.-or Special Teaching Enrichment Workshops-is an exciting time of hands-on outdoor (and indoor!) learning FOR Girl Scout volunteers BY Girl Scout volunteers! Spend your weekend at Camp Dean, in Big Rock, Illinois, learning new Girl Scout program ideas and receive tips and tricks to bring back to your troop. Troop leaders, family volunteers, and service unit team members are welcome! Register for the whole weekend or take advantage of our Saturday-only option. We hope the time you spend at STEW is a fun learning and bonding experience with other Girl Scout adults!
How to Register:
Participants can click on the link to be registered for one of the two options for STEW 2026.
Option 1: STEW Weekend - This is if you want to stay overnight for the weekend (Friday night-Sunday afternoon) and includes lodging, six workshops, supplies (unless otherwise noted), and meals including Friday night snack, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Registration is $85 per adult.
Option 2: STEW Saturday-Only - This is if you wish to attend for Saturday day-only portion. This includes four workshops, supplies (unless otherwise noted), lunch and dinner on Saturday. Registration is $60 per adult.
At registration, you will be asked:
* If there are any other participants you would like to be paired with for overnight accommodations (Friday-Sunday, only)
* Your preference between a building/lodge or outdoor accommodations (Friday- Sunday, only).
* To select your workshops
* If there is any information the organizers should know
* If there are any dietary needs or restrictions
