This training is required for adults to take their Girl Scouts on any overnight trip with modern facilities, such as staying overnight indoors at one of GSNI's camps, a leader's home, or a museum. This class teaches adults how progression is needed to prepare Girl Scouts for overnight trips. It also advises on gauging when Girl Scouts are emotionally and physically ready to spend the night away from home. Adults will learn about planning trips, safety, and many ideas on what they can do in the outdoors to enhance the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Participants must complete Beyond the Troop Meeting training in gsLearn before taking this training.
