Are you passionate about leadership for Girl Scouts? Would you use your voice to represent other others like you? If so, consider applying for an Associate Board Member position with GSNI! Associate Board Member looks great on a scholarship application, college reference, and your future resume.
As an Associate Board Member, GSNI’s Board of Directors will listen closely to your thoughts about ways to make local Girl Scouting better. You’ll represent over 13,000 Girl Scouts in our council, so you’ll need to care deeply about Girl Scouts, be able to speak up in a room full of adults, and occasionally help with or give presentations. You’ll also be asked to attend all Board Meetings in person. Meetings are held about every two months on Saturday mornings at various locations around our council. Depending on your age, your parents may need to help with transportation, so check with them before applying!
This position is open to all Girl Scouts, ages 14 and older, registered with Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. There are a limited number of Associated Board Member positions available, so if you’re interested, apply by March 15, 2023. Application available here.
