It's time for summer hours! GSNI staff, including our Customer Care and Social Media Teams, will be working their regular fulltime hours but in a 4-day work week from May 20–September 4, 2023, with Fridays off. As this may impact regular customer interactions, we are asking all volunteers and families to make note of these new hours. Please plan to contact GSNI with any requests from Monday–Thursday during this time frame.
The council will also be closed on the following dates:
- Monday, May 29: Memorial Day
- Monday, June 19: Juneteenth
- Monday–Tuesday, July 3–4: Independence Day
- Monday, September 4: Labor Day
During summer hours, all five GSNI retail stores will operate from Monday–Thursday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., closing for lunch each day from 12:30–1 p.m. Our Freeport and Lake Zurich stores will be open on the second Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. Our Oswego, Rockford, and South Elgin stores will be open on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. All stores will be closed for physical inventory from July 10–25.
