Soon Girl Scouts will be thinking about warmer days and summer fun! Perhaps those thoughts include spending time at one of our amazing GSNI camps during a theme week. Maybe for some Girl Scouts the time has finally come for them to be a Program Aide at a day camp that they themselves have been attending since they were a Girl Scout Daisy!
Teen mentoring is an exciting part of a Girl Scout’s development and a win-win proposition! As teen mentors, Girl Scouts gain experience by sharing skills, testing knowledge, and trying out new leadership roles. For those being mentored, it means a chance to be with and learn from teens—some of their favorite people!
Know a Girl Scout who wants to complete Program Aide Basic Training? Check out our Activities Page for dates and registration!
Can’t make one of our trainings? No worries! Troops or service units can work with members to do the training at a time and location more convenient for them. Request a training on our Community Service/Leadership page (scroll down to Girl Leadership/Program Aide Training (Training-In-a-Box). Once requested, you’ll receive exclusive links to printable materials to host your own in-person training! Reminder: All in-person troop or group gatherings must follow GSNI’s COVID guidelines.
