Girl Scouts of the USA has teamed up with GSNI to test NEW Maker Badges! We need GSNI Girl Scouts from Daisy, Brownie, and Junior levels who will volunteer their time to test the new Maker Badges. No Maker experience is necessary. All Girl Scout volunteers can deliver this program!
Why participate? Your Girl Scouts will:
- Be the first to try new Maker Badge activities.
- Help GSUSA develop national STEM programs by providing feedback.
- Earn a $25 gift card for their troop to support troop-related program expenses.
Each troop will be required complete a New Maker Badge (a single badge) between April 1–May 27, 2022. Troops will also need to complete the pilot research activities, which includes:
- Administering a Girl Scout post-survey
- Completing a leader post-survey
- Providing experience documentation with five photos of Girl Scouts participating in badge activities and five quotes from Girl Scouts and troop leaders
