2022 Cookie Program Contests

All GSNI Girl Scouts may participate in the Cookie Craver Contest and Cookie Business Challenge individually. GSNI Girl Scouts may participate in the Gift of Caring Opportunity individually or as a troop, however only troops will be entered into the drawing.


Virtual Cookie Booth Contest

Hold a Virtual Cookie Booth and tell us about your booth experience by entering the random drawing for a pizza party for your troop. Deadline to enter is Monday, March 28, 2022. Maximum $100.

Goal Getter Patch (7)

Cookie Craver Contest
For Girl Scouts who want to keep working towards a cookie package goal after Initial Sales, this opportunity is for you! Parents and/or Troop Leaders and Cookie Chairs may bring in a Cookie Craver Contest entry form ONLY into a GSNI Council Cupboard from Thursday, February 24-Saturday, March 12, to receive cookies for additional customer orders. Payment is required at the time of submission/cookie pick-up.

Girls who sell 18+ packages through the Cookie Craver Contest receive the Goal Getter patch. Girls who sell 36+ packages or more receive a Samoas Adventures Please mini journal. For every 36 packages sold through the Cookie Craver Contest, girls are entered into a drawing. Four girls will be randomly drawn to receive the choice of a JBL Portable Bluetooth speaker or two tickets (girl & chaperone) to Six Flags Great America. Digital Cookie orders cannot be accepted as part of the Cookie Craver Contest. See details below for more information and forms.

Cookie Business Challenge
Girl Scouts can be a Cookie Entrepreneur by participating in the Cookie Business Challenge!
What is the Challenge? Girl Scouts are encouraged to visit businesses and ask them to purchase a case (12 packages) or more of cookies or make a Gift of Caring donation purchase of 12 packages or more.

What does a Girl Scout earn? If a girl sells a case or more to three (3) or more businesses, she will earn the Cookie Entrepreneur patch. This patch is not calculated through eBudde™ and will be sent separately to Girl Scouts who earn.

What does the Business receive? Any business that purchases a case (12+ packages) of cookies from a GSNI Girl Scout will receive a window cling thanking them for supporting Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois and the Girl Scout Cookie Program. For any business that purchases 5 or more cases (60+ packages), we will give additional promotion of the business by recognizing on GSNI social media, GSNI website, at GSNI seller-bration events, and newsletters.

How to receive patch and recognize business(es)? For girls to receive their patch and to ensure businesses are recognized appropriately, the Girl Scout/parent must complete the Cookie Business Challenge entry form by Monday March 28. The Girl Scouts name, parent contact information, troop number AND the Business name, address, contact person must be entered on the form.

Cookies on the Go Patch (8)

Gift of Caring Opportunity
As a way to encourage more troops and Girl Scouts to be involved in the distribution of donated cookies, GSNI is encouraging troops to deliver GOC cookies to local first responder organizations (fire department, police department, etc.), military organization (VFW, American Legion, etc.), service organizations (Lion’s Club, Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club, etc.), food pantry, essential businesses (teacher appreciation week, hospitals, doctor offices, post offices, bus drivers, etc.) or another local organization to donate cookies. The donated cookies can be from donated packages sold from the troop’s inventory or additional packages picked up from council. See details below for more information.

All troops that deliver GOC cookies and complete the GOC Delivery entry form will be entered into a drawing. Three troops will be randomly drawn to receive a $100 Cookie Adventure e-code (to be used at a GSNI store or GSNI camp reservation). Additionally, all girls in the troop who sold donation cookies and/or participated in the delivery date will receive the Cookies on the Go patch!

All GOC Delivery entry forms must be submitted by Monday, April 25, to be entered into the drawing and for girls to receive the patches.
