Get ready for a summer adventure like no other! Camp by day - home at night! Day/twilight camps offer girls the opportunity to discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together.
Volunteer Run Day/Twilight Camps
Volunteers throughout Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois plan and carry out a variety of day camps. The following list of volunteer run camps are current with information available as of March 1, and will be updated as fliers are recieved. Important: Adult volunteers are the key to success for each volunteer run day/twilight camp. If you enjoy working with girls, you are welcome. Depending on the camp, volunteers are needed in a variety of positions and for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days. Many of the camps offer sibling units to accommodate children of adult volunteers. Your help is vital to ensure the success of these day/twilight camps. To volunteer, see the individual camp's flier.
Camp Dean Day Camp
Camp Dean Day Camp focuses on girl planning and choice making. The possibilities of program options are endless - swimming, creek stomping, archery, kayaking, canoeing, sports, games, songs, outdoor cooking, drama, art, hiking, nature activities, and much more! Program fee includes all program materials, staff support, lunches, snacks, and T-shirt. Please note that Camp Dean Day Camp is led by the Camp Dean summer camp staff. Registration begins March 31 at 9:00 am.
