Camp Far Horizons
Camp Far Horizons is located near the Mississippi River in Hanover, about 30 minutes southeast of Galena. Camp Far Horizons has over 235 acres of woods with many nature trails. Camp facilities include a central dining hall, outdoor pool with showers, craft and nature tents, archery range, rappelling tower, volleyball field, health center and trading post. Troops can camp overnight year round in Tamarack Lodge. From April to mid-October, there are 4 screened platform tent units, all excluding resident camp season.
