You are helping to inspire the leader in every girl!
Find out more about how girls benefit from the Girl Scout Leadership Experience

A Girl Scout Training is a great opportunity to meet with other Girl Scout volunteers, exchange ideas and expand your network of support.
As a Girl Scout volunteer, you are the person who brings the Girl Scout program to the girls of our council. Whether you are a leader, a troop committee member or an administrative volunteer, you are important to the success of Girl Scouting. Troop/Group leaders must complete orientation and leadership essentials learning opportunities within 12 weeks of their first meeting with their troop/group.
You'll find our Girl Scout trainings informative and helpful in getting your troop/group started on the right track. Leadership Essentials will take you through the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience that Girl Scouts of the USA has implementded. You will be able to explore the three keys to leadership and how you can help girls Discover, Connect, and Take Action. Learning how to deliver the Girl Scout program in a way that is girl led and encouraging learning by doing (experiential learning), and cooperative learning will lead to the fulfillment of our Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
