The Girl Scout Leadership Experience engages girls in Discovering themselves and their values, Connecting with other girls, their communities, and globally, and Taking Action to make the world a better place. This program model is unique to Girl Scouts and begins with a definition of leadership that girls understand and believe in—a leader, girls say, is defined not only by the qualities and skills one has, but also by how those qualities and skills are used to make a difference in the world. Girl Scouts is the organization best positioned to offer girls the tools they need to be successful leaders now and throughout their lives.
