GSNI Volunteers asked for it, so we made it! The Big Book has everything you need to plan a successful 2015-2016 Girl Scout year! This comprehensive book includes ALL Girl Scout events and ALL volunteer trainings for the whole year. In addition, The Big Book includes a welcome guide, called "We Are GSNI" that provides information about our council and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Towards the back of The Big Book, we included additional troop resources such as Badge of the Month Club, and Journey Jumpstarts.

Did you know that 2016 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Girl Scout Gold Award? If you are thinking about earning yours, Erin has some great tips on how to be successful!

Trefoil Talks are back in July!

TrefoilTalks

What are Trefoil Talks?

Trefoil Talks are webinars that will present information targeted to each Girl Scout level. During each Trefoil Talk, our Senior Vice President of Girl Experience, Stacie Simpson, will walk you through a part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for that Girl Scout level and then talk about some of the events we have coming up. Stacie also wants to hear from you and will be there to answer your questions.

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) is partnering with Techbridge's Role Models Matter Project to offer targeted training to women working in the fields of science, technology, and engineering who want to be role models for future generations. Volunteers will receive free training and resources to help them become role models and do not have to be registered Girl Scout adults to take the Role Models Matter Training, nor volunteer with Girl Scouts after receiving training. This training is also open current Girl Scout volunteers.

Techbridge will generously provide grant funds to GSNI for up to the first 90 volunteers who register and take the training by the end of June 2015. To register, contact Pam Schnecke at 847-741-5521, Ext. 7140, or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
